To improve safety, Durham Road will be closed in both directions between Little Penguin Childcare and Tamworth Road. Road closure and detour signage will be in place from 8:00am - 4:00pm.

The Full Story

Held at the picturesque Elizabeth Bridge Reserve, the Kilsyth Festival highlights our community’s natural resources with a strong focus on environmental care. Through workshops and information stands, we aim to inspire sustainable living.

The event is a collaboration between The Kilsyth Community Action Group (KCAG) and The Friends of Elizabeth Bridge Reserve, supported by the Yarra Ranges Council.

Did You Know?

  • The festival logo features the Long Neck Turtle, a native resident of the reserve.
  • It was originally named the "Chelodina Festival" (the scientific name for the turtle).
  • The festival began in 2014 to promote healthy, sustainable living.
