The Mirboo North Winterfest is a FREE two-day event in 2024, showcasing a vibrant mix of activities and entertainment.
Saturday, 3rd August
Kick off the festival with food and drink stalls from 4pm. Enjoy drumming and dance workshops, followed by the Ridgway Lantern Parade at dusk. The Winterfest Bar and live music will keep the energy high in the Tipi until 8:30pm. End the evening with a lively performance by SKA band Skazz at the Shire Hall. Note: Skazz will be a ticketed event; tickets are available below.
Sunday, 4th August
Our Artisan Market takes center stage with over 75 stalls. Relax in the Tipi with live music and enjoy a delicious lunch or wintry morning tea. At midday, join the Forest & Friends Community Ceremony to honor our forests lost earlier this year. Watch as Paul Stafford sculpts a powerful owl from salvaged local cypress. Participate in free workshops for all ages, including Floral Crown and Bee Hotel Workshops, Clootie Writing, and face painting.
