Held at Elwood Primary School, the Elwood Community Market is packed with a vibrant mix of stalls selling handmade gifts, vintage finds, plants, books, pre-loved treasures, jewellery, art, and more. There’s also face painting, music, and a wonderful community feel you’ll love.
️ Fresh Food & Local Favourites
Enjoy the delicious aromas of fresh coffee from Elwood Coffee Roasters, grab a snag at the iconic sausage sizzle, and treat yourself to artisan bread, homemade cakes, or fresh-from-the-farm fruit and veggies. It’s a foodie haven!
Market Dates
The market runs eight times a year — usually on the first Saturday of each month during school term (moved to the next weekend if it clashes with a public holiday).
Hours: 8:30am – 1:00pm
December Market: Closes at 2:00pm

Location & Parking
The market is located at Elwood Primary School, Scott Street, Elwood. There’s plenty of parking nearby on Scott Street, Mitford Street and Glenhuntly Road — but locals are encouraged to stroll over and soak in the relaxed beachside vibe!

This thriving market is proudly run by volunteers from the Elwood Primary School community. Helping out is a great way to meet others and support fundraising efforts that go directly back to the school.
Current volunteer opportunities include:

- Car Boot Site: 7m x 3m

Elwood Kids Market
The Elwood Kid's Market is an exciting opportunity for students to get creative and run their own stalls — whether for fun, fundraising, or budding business ideas!
- Cost: $10
- Includes: 1 kids’ table + 2 chairs
- ⏰ Setup: from 8:30am
- Supervision: Parent/guardian required
