One of the largest community markets in the Eastern Suburbs, the Warrandyte Riverside Market is ideally set on the banks of the Yarra River. The market is held on the grounds of Stiggants Reserve, Warrandyte River Reserve.
The Warrandyte Riverside Market is held 12 times a year, on the first Saturday of each month (except January) with an additional Christmas market on the third Saturday in December.
With over 180 stalls, the market boasts unique local stallholders and a wonderful atmosphere amongst the gum trees and one of Melbourne's most iconic rivers.
The market is operated by the Warrandyte Riverside Market Inc., a committee of five local not-for-profit groups. Profits from the market are regularly reinvested into the local community.
The market is professionally managed and operates under license to the Manningham City Council.
