Welcome to the Holland Festival!

The Holland Festival, a cherished tradition in Melbourne for 40 years, returned in 2017 after a brief hiatus. Managed by the Rotary Club of Casey, this vibrant celebration of Dutch heritage and culture brings joy to the community while supporting charitable causes.

About the Holland Festival Management Committee

The Committee's mission is to organise a cultural extravaganza benefiting the Dutch community and raising funds for charitable projects. Comprising dedicated volunteers, including Rotarians and select invitees, the Committee ensures each festival is a resounding success.

About the Venue

The Festival takes place at the picturesque Event Centre – Caribbean Gardens, offering 45,000sqm of park lands, a serene lake, ample parking, and spacious indoor facilities. Conveniently located 25km from Melbourne's CBD, it promises a delightful experience for all.

Tickets and Discounts

Secure your spot at the festival early and enjoy discounts up to 20% off with our Early Bird offers! Tickets can be purchased online, offering swift entry via mobile scanning at any of the three entrance gates. Families, seniors, and students all have special rates!

Parking and Public Transport

On-site parking is available, or opt for public transport with Glen Waverley station nearby. Children's tickets include unlimited access to the carnival rides, ensuring endless fun for the little ones!

SJOELBAK – Holland Festival Championship

Join the excitement of the Sjoelbak Championship sponsored by Harry’s Clothing in Berwick at the Holland Festival! Compete for great prizes and showcase your tabletop shuffle-board skills.

Prizes for 2024:

Adults & Teens: $400 shopping voucher at Harry’s Clothing each
Top 2 scores in the 12 & Under division: $100 toy shop voucher each, plus 40 special prizes for scores over 80

The Sjoelbak Championship is a popular competition where attendees can test their skills in three divisions:

Divisions:

Division 1: Adults ($5 per game)
Division 2: Teenagers 13-18y (Free with entry ticket)
Division 3: Children 12 and under (Free with entry ticket)

Competition Rules:

Each game lasts approximately 4 minutes
Ensure 30 discs are in play before starting
Discs must pass under the start bar to be in play
Discs leaving the sjoelbak or jumping over the gate bar are taken out of play
Official stacks discs in compartments with specific rules for scoring

Scoring:

1 disc in each compartment = 20 points
2 discs in each compartment = 40 points
3 discs in each compartment = 60 points
4 discs in each compartment = 80 points (and so on)
Maximum possible score: 148 points
